Deer Valley Real Estate - A Great Choice!
One of the advantages to buying Deer Valley real estate is the
year round recreation. In the summer Deer Valley Deer Valley Resort
has offered chairlift-accessed hiking, mountain biking and scenic
rides since 1992 from the mid-mountain Sterling chairlift. For the
second season, the Resort will also operate the Silver Lake Express
chairlift from the Snow Park base area, from which guests can transfer
to the Sterling chairlift at the Resort's mid-mountain area, allowing
them the chance to rise from 7,200 to 9,400 feet in altitude, all
on scenic chairlifts.
The same white-glove service Deer Valley is known for during the
winter ski season is applied to the summer mountain biking, hiking
and scenic chairlift ride program, where the Resort offers an all-inclusive
operation featuring mountain bike rentals, instruction and guided
tours.
Guests may also enjoy a relaxing lunch on the deck of Royal Street
Café at Silver Lake Lodge. Mountain breezes and a green and
white awning that runs the length of the deck keep diners cool,
as do beverages such as a local microbrew, homemade lemonade or
a refreshing mojito. The cuisine is equally fresh, such as the simple
summer salad of a crisp iceberg wedge served with pear tomatoes,
baby carrots and beets, Italian vinaigrette, glazed walnuts and
Maytag blue cheese.
Summertime at the Resort also brings the Utah Symphony & Opera's
Deer Valley Music Festival, a weekend jazz festival and other concerts,
all held in the Outdoor Amphitheater at Snow Park Lodge. With so
much to offer during the summer, there is no shortage of activities
to enjoy at Deer Valley Resort.
In the winter Deer Valley is rife with snow sports, everything
from skiing to snowboarding is enjoyed on these famous slopes. Deer
Valley Resort revolutionized the ski industry in 1981 by providing
the attentive service, gourmet food and luxury accommodations one
would experience at a fine hotel.
Deer Valley was honored in 2001 by being named the #1 ski resort
in North America by the readers of SKI magazine, and we proudly
hosted the 2002 Olympic Winter Games slalom, aerials and moguls
events. Exceptional customer service, consistent quality and attention
to every detail are all part of the Deer Valley experience. And
our four mountains, offering a wide variety of terrain, allow guests
more than ample opportunity to indulge in our annual 300 inches
of light, dry Utah powder.
